  8. Jimmywatches Says:

    Yeah, my cousin, …
Yeah, my cousin, see the post right beneath this one :-) Actually, one of my TT-01’s got run over a couple of years ago, I’m not sure if the bumpers helped ha ha.

  10. Jimmywatches Says:

well, im not mentioning any names – ’stigdriver’ – but, yes ha ha.

  11. jwrx7tt01 Says:

    hahaha or u reverse …
hahaha or u reverse into something else. w8 does that mean ur expecting someone to rear end u?

  12. Jimmywatches Says:

    The front and rear …
The front and rear bumpers use the same foam item, just get another one same as the front. Then you’ll need a spare plastic bracket – the same as at the front and a couple of screws. I made my own bracket at first from ‘plasticard’ before I bought a spare parts tree :-) Its only necessary if someone is going to rear end you at full speed lol.

  13. jwrx7tt01 Says:

    How come the S15 …
How come the S15 has bumper front and rear? How do you attatch? Is it necessary?

aww man, are TopCad suspensions good? cuz i got them and they made my car too low that it scratches my bathtub.

  16. Jimmywatches Says:

    Yeah, concentrate …
Yeah, concentrate on your exams first :-)

It depends whether your going to use the shell a lot or just have it on a shelf. If you’ll drive it hard go for white one because white paint sticks better to the inside and it’s easier to repaint any bits that get chipped. But Metallic grey is probably THE definitive GT-R colour (aside from gunmetal-r32 and midnight purple-r34). Well both are factory colours anyway and both look great.

  17. Evopoper95 Says:

    yeah man!!! …
yeah man!!! although i need to finish my exams for the shell! ITS WORTH IT!!! Just wondering should i paint the R35 white or metallic grey =]

  18. Jimmywatches Says:

    I wish! GT-Rs are …
I wish! GT-Rs are great, Tamiya have re-released the R32 with light buckets now, I’ve got my eyes on it for the future :-)

  19. Evopoper95 Says:

    thats cool! I got …
thats cool! I got aluminum shaft and new suspensions! Mines is the R34 GTR and im planning to get the R35 shell! do you have that shell?

  20. Jimmywatches Says:

    Nope, it comes as …
Nope, it comes as the first chassis in the video minus the steering servo, receiver, ESC and battery (only electrics included is the motor). Sometimes an ESC is added. The TT-01 can also be bought ready to run (RTR) which includes everything including a transmitter and pre-painted shell :-)

  21. RcDemons Says:

    so it comes with …
so it comes with everything but the esc and battery rught?

  22. fcvware Says:

    thx!
    thx!

  23. Jimmywatches Says:

    Unless someone …
Unless someone gives me one, I don’t know :-)
However, the overall concept is the same except the motor is positioned further forward and mounted to the front gearbox instead of rear on TT-01. Still, they are both electric, shaft-driven 4WD tub chassis 1/10 cars, both 190mm wide, both double wishbone, friction dampers – a lot of parts look remarkably similar. You can use the same ESCs, motors, servos, receivers, wheels (& bodies if you drill new holes).
It comes down to cost and availability :-)

  24. fcvware Says:

    Do you think tt-01 …
Do you think tt-01 is better than hpi e10?
    Great video.

  25. Jimmywatches Says:

    Thanks, totally agree :-)
